Meet Art. Husband, father, friend, upstanding citizen and salsa-maker extraordinaire—Papa Vedo to his fans and patrons. Art has been making this third generation recipe of salsa for his family and friends for over 30 years. He decided to start his own company in August of last year. “I found myself with the opportunity to start my own business last summer when I was out of work,” Art told us. “My wife and I decided that this was the time to do something I wanted to do for myself.” Art Launched PapaVedo, LLC in November and took his salsa to market in January of this year.

What’s Art’s salsa like? Hot. No mild, no medium… Art’s Hot Salsa is just one product with one delicious, sneak-up-on-you heat and flavor that will make your mouth water. Plus Art’s personal touch. “I’m doing what I want to be doing for a change,” he told us. “I take extra care to insure that every batch I make and every delivery is perfect.” It’s no wonder that on only his third month in the market, you can already find Art’s Hot Salsa at Art of the Table, Ninth Bridge Market, Kingma’s Market, The Crushed Grape, Ken’s Fruit Market, Martha’s Vineyard, Ottawa Tavern, and Blue Water Grill.

What can you do for this enthusiastic entrepreneur? Try his salsa! “Word of mouth is the best advertising there is. I want to get as many people talking about my salsa as possible and I want them all to enjoy it.” There you have it.
