Today is an anniversary of sorts for Uptown Kitchen–we’ve been open for exactly one month (albeit a short one, with February and all)–and there is certainly cause for celebration at our Grand Opening this weekend! The businesses that have started operating out of our kitchen regularly have been getting the lay of the land here, figuring out how to structure their process within ours and within this space, and helping us to create a useful and supportive environment for small food businesses. We’re all settling in, getting comfortable, and working together to create an efficient, useful, and collaborative community of entrepreneurs.
And on that note, we’d like to show it off! Stop by this weekend from 3:30 to 7:30pm on Friday and/or from 10am to 4pm on Saturday. Take a look around, watch a couple of fun and creative food demos, meet the entrepreneurs who are and will be operating out of this space, and taste all sorts of delicious food!
